Katherine McGrath is a writer, editor, and creative consultant based in Paris.

She writes about art, culture, design, luxury, interesting people, travel, architecture, food, film, lifestyle, and fashion—among other subjects—but will write about anything that sets her soul on fire. Her work has been published in T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveler, Cultured, Wallpaper, L’Officiel, Artsy, and Creative Nonfiction, among other publications, as well as Architectural Digest, where she spent three years on staff as a features editor overseeing the online arts and culture coverage. She has also spent time on staff at Creative Nonfiction and Artsy. Most recently she was an editor and project manager at Assouline Publishing, where she was responsible for the editing and direction of both in-house and client titles, including Lalanne: A World of Poetry, Carita, Ken Fulk, Moschino, Yves Saint Laurent at Home: Life with Yves and Pierre, Estée Lauder: A Beautiful Life, Riva Aquarama, and more. 

In 2022, after seven years in New York City, she moved back to Paris where she lived when she was younger. She returned to Paris her junior year of university to study at L’Institut d’études politiques de Paris (SciencesPo) and work with a literary magazine, The Bastille, as well as a poetry group. She finished her studies in the U.S. and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with dual degrees in Nonfiction Writing and French. She lives by the Bastille with her boyfriend and their dog.
